Alfa Romeo Engine, Oil, Transmission, Clutch
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Engine
Standard power comes from an All-Aluminum 90-degree 2.9 liter Twin-Turbo V6 engine that delivers 505 horsepower and 443 lb ft of torque. Matching its muscular strength with evocative emotion, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is able to achieve a top speed of 277 MPH.
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio: it uses an eight-speed automatic transmission that does an exceptional job of delivering power, performance, and fuel-efficiency, thanks to its integrated adaptive shift technology. But this transmission doesn’t stop there. No, when you test drive this luxury SUV at our Alfa Romeo dealership in Winter Haven, FL you’ll enjoy unparalleled responsiveness and refinement thanks to a shift-by-wire setup that makes this SUV’s gear shifts fast and seamless. And even though this engine is an automatic, you can still option-in steering wheel-mounted aluminum paddle shifters and cycle through the gears yourself, without worrying about a clutch pedal.
Our Alfa Romeo Service Center Guide recommends
The key to maintaining your Alfa Romeo is to have a full inspection done once a year so that you can keep an eye out for wear and tear, but also to preemptively find any potential issues that might happen in the future.
If driven daily driven, the annual service is done at every 12,500 miles. This will ensure that your runs at optimal performance throughout its lifetime.
Alfa Romeo Brakes, Rotors, Pads & Fluid
To stop the Giulia Quadrifoglio, Brembo has provided a stock braking system that very few street cars can boast. It is called the High-performance Brembo brake system, and it comprises Brembo co-cast floating ventilated discs measuring 360 mm in the front and 350 mm in the rear. Co-cast discs bring together the benefits of the two materials that they are made with: cast iron (for its thermal properties, like a reduction in deformation and good conductivity) and aluminium (for its lightness). The distinctive traits comprise the way in which the two materials have been cast into a single component and the behavior of the disc itself. Indeed, it is a fully-integrated disc at low temperatures, yet it acts like a floating disc at high temperatures, when maximum performance is required and the disc tends to get deformed. Combining these discs with anonymous calipers would have been sacrilege. To exalt the sides of this car, which are enriched with prominent belt lines, Brembo mono-bloc calipers were chosen with 6 pistons in the front and 4 pistons in the rear.
Alfa Romeo Tires, Suspension & Alignment
The suspension’s job is to not only keep a comfortable ride; it is also to provide optimal handling characteristics. Properly functioning suspension will keep alignment within specification in a straight line as well as in the corners. Moreover, this keeps the tires from wearing unevenly. At each service interval, it is recommended to check the suspension of your Alfa Romeo’s components for any squeaks, rattles, leakage, or play. Alignment can seriously affect both tire wear as well as the handling characteristics of a car. Therefore, it is imperative that the alignment is checked on a regular basis.
Tires are also wearable items that need to be checked at every service interval. Unfortunately, many owners tend to ignore their tires. As they are the only part of your vehicle that are in contact with the ground, they affect handling, acceleration, braking, and crucially, safety. Wear on your Alfa Romeo will vary depending on driving conditions, driving style, and whether or not the vehicle is all-wheel drive or not.
The Alfa Romeo comes with these tire sizes, depending on rim size and model:
FRONT TIRES: 245/35R19 (Quadrifolgio Tire Specs)
REAR TIRES: 285/30R19 (Quadrifolgio Tire Specs)
